Sorry for all the late responses, I'm working my way through a lot on this site and others, getting back to everyone.  Thanks again for stopping by and liking my art!  I do appreciate it.  I haven't been posting much due to a new computer and an old scanner that no longer works.  I'm working my way around the problem to I can post more drawings up.  Most of my recent art has been on the Cintiq and Corel Painter but I still like my paper and pencils.  I'm gonna put some stuff up here soon and get back to some people.
I won't be doing any more requests because I am planning on starting up paid commissions.  Enough interest has generated here and elsewhere that motivated me to do it and will probably be up in the next few months.  I'm working on some of the requests that got to me before I made this decision.  Thanks for reading this!

Supergirl-quick paint by Pharoahess
Supergirl-quick paint
Supergirl, DC comics.  Quick paint, 30 minutes in Corel Painter X.
I felt like slapping some scribbles on paper down but since my scanner is dead, I did this instead.  It's a little darker than I thought it would turn out.
Costume design is my own with the exception of the cape and belt.  The cape is from her New 52 costume and the belt is designed after Batgirls'.

Uh, well...everything you need to know is below but, I guess...I like animation, comics, sci-fi, fantasy and things like that. I am a nerd and proud of it. I like hearing about NASA updates and I love ancient Egypt anything. I love to draw and paint, mostly in traditional media but I am starting to like digital media. I love to design and sew costumes and to make jewelry. Steampunk is my current love right now but I have a feeling it's gonna stay that way. :D

And I can certainly say the same for your gallery. Have you seen most of what I've drawn here?

Your art is great! I like your tutorials! One thing that caught my eye was what appears to be a phonetic transcription of hieroglyphics. COOL! What does it say? I love the story about how hieroglyphs were finally translated after Napoleon's army found the Rosetta Stone in Egypt. That must have been VERY exciting for those guys! If it wasn't for the Rosetta Stone, we might STILL be unable to read hieroglyphics. I wish Google Translate did hieroglyphics!

Sorry for being so late to answer your question!  I can't seem to find my other copy of The Book of The Dead of Ani but yes, it is the phonetic translation of a very short passage.  It refers to Osiris (Asar) and the twin of Anubis (Wepawet) usually pictured as a white or grey jackel headed man who guards the Eastern Gate/Nile Shore and is said to be a Guardian of Life (opposite of Anubis/Anpu of Death)  If I remember correctly, it roughly translates to Wepawet honoring Asar, or Life honoring Death without fear.
